Doadó

In 2016, Clara Escuer, director of Doadó, approached us with the idea of creating a music academy focused on the integral development of children from birth. We sought a name that would implicitly evoke music, leading to Doadó, inspired by the diatonic scale. We designed a simple and playful visual identity, where the curved typography resembles musical notes, and its arrangement suggests a staff, subtly connecting to the world of music.

To attract a young audience, we created the claim “musical instinct”, emphasizing that everyone has an innate connection to music, and Doadó would help uncover it. The academy comes to life with a musical fauna led by characters like Sonata and Ritmus, who guide children through their lessons. Additionally, the spaces were designed with a unique visual language: the classrooms are marked by clouds shaped from the letters of the name, and the rings on the facade follow the same inspiration. Today, Doadó is a reality—an environment where children naturally and enthusiastically discover music.
